Getting to Costa Rica

We can't wait to see you! So here are some available flight options.

There are two international airports in Costa Rica: San José (SJO) and Liberia (LIR).

The Liberia - Guanacaste International Airport (LIR) is located 4 to 5 hours north from the Central Valley, where the celebrations will be held. Tickets are often more expensive to Liberia than to San José.

We recommend you book your flights to the San José International Airport (SJO). Several airlines fly to San José from different cities across the U.S.

This is a list of options that fly direct from a few cities on the West and East coasts.

From Boston: JetBlue and Spirit Air
From Dallas: American Airlines and Taca
From Denver: Frontier
From Fort Lauderdale: Spirit Air
From Los Angeles: American Airlines and Taca
From Miami: American Airlines and Taca
From New York City: American Airlines, JetBlue, Spirit Air and Taca
From Washington, D.C.: American Airlines and JetBlue

*Disclaimer: Spirit Air offers the most affordable fares from NY and Boston. The catch? Well it comes with red-eye departure times, terrible service, baggage fees, super reduced cabin space and a pit stop in Fort Lauderdale.
