THE GOOD NEWS: August is part of the Costa Rican tourism "Low Season" or as Costa Ricans like to call it "The Green Season", so airfare and lodging will be at their lowest price of the year.

The third recommendation, Vista del Valle, is nestled in a coffee plantation on the outskirts of Naranjo, Brenna's hometown (Nevada's parents have stayed here and they really enjoyed it).
